Rodizio Rico (Islington) (Bar / Restaurant)
77-78 Upper St, Islington, London, N1 0NY
“Long story short: Upper Street branch, crappy, rude service. Waited forever for our drinks. We had to before the next table arrives, but it took them so long to print the damn bill, we wasted another half hour sorting it out! We asked that we just get another bill printed so we can speed it up and was refused and rudely reprimanded.
Shocking.
We where then called back, because we didn't pay a drinks bill (another one, which was seperate, but not presented to us at time of paying). We explained this and that started a huge argument with "bouncer / manager".
Never again man. The food wasn't even that great! Overcooked, cheap meats, rude waiters running back and fro, nobody explaining how we should order / how the system works.
Restaurant was loud and chaotic and not a very nice ambience.
Just rubbish and totally over priced for what you get. Give it a wide berth.”

Las Iguanas (Bar / Restaurant)
Unit 14 Festival Walk, Royal Festival Hall, Belvedere Road, South Bank, Waterloo, London, SE1 8XX
“A great bar in the summer when you can spill out over the pavement, but when we visited last night (a cold March evening) we were a little disappointed. The place was emptying after dinner and there were a number of free tables. When we asked if our party of six could sit at one of these we were told no. Instead we were directed to huddle around a small table by the door (freezing every time the door was opened). To make matters worse we were told we had to collect our own chairs from outside. The bar staff had stripped down the bar by 10.30 and the overall impression was they didn't want our business. I guess, during winter months, they are only interested in diners. Shame as they do a good margarita.”

“I spent my 31st birthday here and was looked after so well! We booked an area and were looked after by a lovely waitress... This bar has everything, Great music, friendly staff, excellent atmosphere and wicked art work in the outside smoking patio - can't wait til summer, this place will be great! Can't really say anything bad about this place... It's unpretentious, but very cool, one of the better venues in oh-so-cool Shoredich. It got pretty busy, but that's a good thing?! Will be returning again and again!”

“I don't know what the other reviews are talking about, but our night out at the Bluebird was fantastic. Started with cocktails in the bar. Seriously good, best I've had in a long time. Great service too. The buzz on a Thursday was excellent, with dinner to follow in the adjoining restaurant. Food was good too, conventional British fare. Didn't blow me away, but still very enjoyable. Back to the bar for a last drink was the highlight of a great evening.”
